Welcome to PinkTalk – Girls Video Call ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and services.
By using PinkTalk, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our app.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Display Name & Gender: Chosen by you during onboarding (required to match you with other users)
- Profile Photo: Optionally uploaded by you (subject to moderation approval)
- Messages: Text messages sent in private chats
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Device ID: Android ID used to identify your device (no account registration or email required)
- FCM Token: Firebase Cloud Messaging token for push notifications (incoming calls, messages)
- IP Address: Logged by our server for security and abuse prevention
- Usage Data: App activity like calls made, duration, reports (for moderation)
1.3 Camera & Microphone
When you join a random video call or private video call, your camera and microphone are used. Video and audio streams are transmitted peer-to-peer using WebRTC technology. We do not record, store, or process your video or audio streams. WebRTC is encrypted end-to-end via DTLS-SRTP.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To match you with other users for random video or voice calls
- To enable private calls and text chats between friends
- To send push notifications (incoming calls, friend requests, messages)
- To maintain account security, enforce Community Guidelines, and investigate abuse
- To show relevant in-app advertisements
- To compile anonymized analytics and improve app performance
3. Gender Matching
PinkTalk uses your gender selection to match you with users of the opposite gender by default (female users match with male users and vice versa). You can change your preferences in the app. We do not verify or enforce gender identity; the information you provide is taken at your word.
4. Moderation
Private messages may be reviewed by our moderation team to enforce Safety Standards and process reports. Text messages are stored to allow moderation and appeals. Video call content is not monitored or recorded by us. By using PinkTalk, you consent to message moderation.
5. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
- Google Firebase – Push notifications via FCM, WebRTC signaling support
- Google AdMob / StartApp / AppLovin – Advertising (anonymized device identifiers)
- WebRTC STUN/TURN servers – Necessary for peer-to-peer connection setup (IP address exposure is inherent to WebRTC)
- Google Play Billing – In-app purchases (if applicable)
- Law Enforcement – When required by applicable law
WebRTC & IP Address Notice: WebRTC technology may expose your IP address to the other party during a call. This is a fundamental property of peer-to-peer technology. We use our TURN relay servers to minimize this in cases where direct connection is not possible.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Text messages may be retained for up to 90 days for moderation purposes. WebRTC signaling data (session SDPs, ICE candidates) is automatically cleared after call sessions end.
7. Children's Privacy
PinkTalk is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has used our app, please contact us immediately and we will take appropriate action including account removal.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS/TLS encryption for all API communications, WebRTC DTLS-SRTP encryption for video/audio streams, database access controls, and secure server infrastructure.
9. Your Rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. To delete your account and associated data, use the "Delete Account" option in app Settings, or contact us. Depending on your location, additional rights may apply under GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable privacy laws.
10. Push Notifications
We send push notifications for incoming calls, friend requests, and messages. You can disable notifications in your device settings at any time.
11. Advertising
PinkTalk may display advertisements from AdMob, StartApp, or AppLovin. Ad partners may collect anonymized device identifiers to show relevant ads. Opt out via your device's advertising settings (Google Settings > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization).
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of significant changes via the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
